Congratulations to Deni and David after another successful Airads flying marriage proposal at Leeds Castle in Kent yesterday.
A bitterly cold day with the threat of snow in the air, didn't stop David persuading Deni to join him for an afternoon at this romantic location and everything went to plan. I caught the happy couple just at the vital moment with a telephoto lens shot from 1,000 feet above the castle.
Another Valentine's Day comes around and yesterday, nobody was more surprised that me, when the weather improved enough to get this year's flying proposal from Dino to Karen, done at the Hindhead nature reserve, just off the A3 in Hampshire.
When I left Manston in the morning, the weather, in a 500 foot low overcast and drizzle was still pretty awful but as you can see from the video-clip of yesterday's action, that once I reached Blackbushe airport and the area behind the advancing weather front, there was a marked improvement in conditions.
In the end, everything ran smoothly to plan and Karen said "Yes" so the Airads record remains unbroken, with the next flight once again, back a the popular Leeds castle in a week.
Congratulations Dino and Karen and don't forget to visit our AiradsUK on Facebook.
Roads were bought to a standstill when a large traveller funeral caused delays on the roads of Warrington and Preston on Tuesday afternoon.

The funeral of a young traveller who was found dead at his home last month took place in St Helens. The cortege passed through St Helens, towards Warrington and later to Preston for burial.
Tom Mongan, 26, was carried in a white hearse drawn by six white horses after being transported by motor hearse from St Helens.
Following was another carriage drawn by six white horses carrying several floral tributes and further cortege of 10 stretch limousines. Police noted that there were up to 60 vehicles, including cars and vans.
Jazzbeat, who took these photos in Preston, mentioned that ‘While the carriages were being assembled a small aircraft flew overhead with a tribute to the deceased streaming from a banner attached to its tail’.
The children of the family later released 28 white doves.
An inquest into Mr Mongan’s death will take place at a later date.
Congratulations to Etan and Marianna and Ezeugo and Nnnenna, the first two flying marriage proposals of the year and both at Leeds castle in Kent today.
Despite awful weather, low cloud and drizzle to begin with, both couples had their special day end in success and Airads 100% flying marriage proposal success record too.
Sighted over Hastings town centre and its main shopping centre on Thursday evening as the Sun set on a perfect winter's evening, Father Christmas, complete with reindeer and sleigh at 1,000 feet.
Out to Kemble aerodrome and then Swindon today, for a "Happy 50th Birthday" message for Vicki from John.
Quite difficult and blustery winter conditions, meant several attempts to collect the banner on my part and getting the job done involved more luck than judgement.
This was the first outing for the new GoPro Hero 3 camera and it obviously works quite well, although it slipped down slighty during the flight and will have to be tightened next time.
The plan is to use two cameras in future with different views of the action.
Up at Sywell near Northampton today to fly a special romantic banner for Martha from Roberto. Sywell was particularly busy, with a corporate day involving some impressive Spitfire flights and the fabulous 'Blades' display team in their Extra 300 aircraft.
It was a great day for a display of any kind and you can see the video I shot for the client below, as well as the Spitfire!
This afternoon's romantic banner from Mark to Jodie at the Mount Hotel outside Wolverhampton. We even had an impromptu aerobatics display from my good friend Ian Gallagher, who appeared in his Christen Eagle biplane from Cosford to say hello.
Three days of flying over Essex this week promoting Allen Ford's special autumn car sale. Romford, Brentwood and Chelmsford were among the towns being covered in the daily two hour flights.
Arriva Yorkshire worked with Airads in September on a flying banner campaign to introduce their new fleet of buses. Part of this involved the production of a video to celebrate the arrival of the new fleet and this has been posted to YouTube for everyone to enjoy!
Photographs from the 'Bark in the Park' event today at what was once IBM's Lakeside headquarters at Portsmouth on one of the hottest and brightest days of the year.
